Red and Hot Pink Color Blocking...

Outfit: Lace top: Reiss, Pants: Reiss, Shoes: Reiss, Jacket: Reiss, Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Belt: Vintage, Ring: Forever 21, Lipstick: Revlon Hot Coral

It will definitely be a while before I am over color blocking.  I know mint green is the new color for the season, but I cannot get enough of red and hot pink.  I never imagined putting these two colors together until I saw Sarah Jessica Parker rocking this color combo seen in my post here.

Chris Benz....

I was absolutely in shock and awe at the Chris Benz show for Fall 2012 MBFW.  The clothes were very feminine and dainty.  I was waiting all fashion week for a show like this.  Forgive me for the plethora of pictures, but I could not help myself.  Each outfit was better than the next.  The clothes were so refined and refreshing.  We’ve been overwhelmed with reality shows like the Jersey Shore that do not depict ladies in a proper way.  Chris Benz’s collection had a sophisticated air about it and the models did a lovely job showing off the clothes.  Look for the kissy face below on one of the models.  I was enamored with her and the dress.  The collection not only had beautiful clothes, but also paid close attention to detail.  There were bows, scarfs, hats and extra frills.  Tell me what you think!

Flowers and fishnets during MBFW....

Dress: Reiss, Red fishnet stockings, Booties: Reiss, Jewelry: Vintage

Above I'm hanging out in the MBFW tent awaiting the Mathieu Mirano show.  I'm wearing my favorite designer, Reiss, in the flower print dress.  Flowers are a huge hit this season, as well as the upcoming spring and summer.  I mixed the flower dress with fishnet stockings for an added punch to my outfit.  Flower prints have such a vitality to them and they are graceful and alive!  Stockings with a different twist are also making their mark this season.  Below, I'm back at the house relaxing after a day of eye-popping shows!

Daniella Kallmeyer...MBFW

Daniella Kallmeyer's new line is completely wearable.  There were so many pieces I would buy in a second.  Her use of the galaxy print reminds me of my post here.  The outfit above is extraordinary!  When the model took off her jacket, I was in love.  The suit and top were already amazing, but the sleeves made me want to wear the whole outfit asap!

Blouses buttoned to the top seem quite popular for the fall and even now.  I particularly like this suit with paired with the button up top.  The patin leather collar brings this whole outfit together.

Navy and black is making a smash hit for the fall/winter...and so are fetching backpacks.  You can see the other guests were taken back with this outfit.

Intergalactic nails and sparkly fabrics

Once again, fur....or faux fur, is making a strong statement this fall, as well as a very structured collar.  Also, take note of the thicker eyebrows.  They make you look younger and are making a come-back; however, no unibrows please!

I was drooling over this skirt with the inside lining of a galaxy feel.

Here's another outer space piece with the signature black heels.  The pointed toe black heel is back in, so get a pair for the fall!

I took a quick snapshot of these two fashion goers.  The bow tie to the shoes are très chic on the man.  Every man should own a great pair of brown shoes like his.  Check out the pair I found on Cole Haan here.  The girl looks very fashionable with her hat, shoes and pants mixed with a fun print coat, toped off with the red pop of lipstick.

Just before the Venexiana show

Outfit: Cape: Reiss, Dress: Elizabeth and James, Belt: Vintage, Stockings: Romwe.com, Booties: Reiss, Purse: Vintage, Infinity Scarf: Lord and Taylor

I loved this outfit, especially with the leopard belt and faux fur scarf!  The stockings were exciting as well, as they were had a different twist to them.

The Venexiana show was flawless.  The gowns had an edginess to them and were jaw-dropping, red carpet worthy.  Sequins, fur and glitter will certainly be in for the fall.  I'm more of an advocate for the faux fur, but want to show off the trends.  Kati Stern showed 70 pieces in her collection.  They were exquisitely draped and she accessorized with dangly earrings, smokey eyes, sheer black stockings, classic black shoes and intricate up-do's.

I love the balance of lace with the heavier material plaid skirt.  Mixing patterns creates a different unique look.  Be bold this fall!

I can see this dress hitting the red carpet on Mila Kunis.  It has a sexiness and gracefullness all in one.

This piece was so powerful.  I think Miss J would be proud of the models strut as well.  If you look at the dress, you can see a combo of sheer and velvet.

I love the bit of peek-a-boo red splashed on this dress.

Another piece of velvet mixed with a sheer top.  I want this dress!

The gold dress here has a metalic look with no hard edges, but cleanly draped.  The open back was stunning.

J. Alexander...aka...Miss J, best known as an American model, tv personality and runway coach for America's Next Top Model, was present. He was obviosly pensive contemplating the carefully crafted line and of course the cat walks.
